The Adult Christian Education (A.C.E.) Current Events from a Christian Perspective at 10:30 AM class has completed its informative study on Christian Ethics. We have topical study lessons selected by class members from a 24 item list proposed by Dean Krueger, who will substitute for Jack Davis during some of the spring classes. Although the final votes to determine topics are not tallied as of this writing, the March 4 lesson will be “The Israelite’s Fascination with Numbers.” Some of the others getting considerable interest include Biblical (and Traditional) Heaven and Hell, Hunting and Fishing in the Bible, Women in Biblical Leadership Roles, The Fourteen Apostles, The Mary’s in the Bible, and Gambling and Gaming in the Bible. Topics will be tied to present-day events, traditions and beliefs, and most will take one or two classes to complete. Please JOIN US in the Luther Room (fellowship hall) for these and other exciting studies from a Biblical perspective!”
Today we tested the streaming (online Live Broadcast)
of our Traditional service. It was very successful.
Beginning on 3/18 we will stream the 9:15 service live!!!
You can view this stream by clicking on Downloads –> then
Clicking the LIVE STREAM link.
Recordings of this service will be offered by the same link.

RED ROOF READERS – BOOK CLUB
The Red Roof Readers met in February to discuss the book
of the month Seven
Days in Utopia
by David Cook. When you pick up this book to read, one might
think it is about the game of golf only; but, WOW! How much more
it is than that! Read and find out the many life lessons which
are taught through out this amazing book! All who attended put
thumbs up for a definite referral to read and pass on to others.
You don’t want to miss our next gathering on Monday, March 12th
at 6pm in the Fellowship Hall. Our book choice for March
is The Hiding Place
by Corrie Ten Boom. This is an amazing autobiography of Corrie Ten
Boom and her survival of the horrors of WWII prison camp by relying
on the Word of God to give thanks to God in all circumstances. There
will be many lessons to be learned from reading this book. (Book choices
for April-Same Kind of Different as Me by Ron Carter;
May-Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Album)
Not only do we have fun sharing our thoughts, but we like to socialize;
to bring a snack and join in on all the fun. Call Lucy Walker at 830-885-3939
or e-mail at lwalkerbluei@gvtc.com
for more information.
